Tara-Eva Kuijpers Wentink (1996) is a Dutch artist who is based in Amsterdam. She graduated in Fine Arts at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie Amsterdam in 2020 and completetd her master in sculpture at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerpen.
Her practice explores abstract, organic forms that refer to the inner physical aspects of the human body, as well as forms and tissues from the plant world. Together they form an imaginary whole. By combining ceramics and textiles she contrasts the tangible aspect of the work. Her sculptural installations create an environment in which the audience can get a glimpse of an imaginary world where they can look with curiosity at another reality that shows both the beauty of origin and the alienation of new life and transience.
